*the Start (feat. Trever Keith)*
Hello all. We, the Definitive, all 2 of us, have spent the last year writing, "demo-ing" and recording a bunch of music. With a couple of beyond super talented stateside friends (DDLP on the sticks & skins, TK on production + some vocal detail), some classic guitars, keyboards, ebows, Vox amps, etc. we have 10 sharp pieces of audio sitting in our hands. From our naturally bleak and sarcastic English hearts, the subject matter of said songs ranges from infomercial disbelief, weather, scenery, the ugly beauty of England, the pain of ambition, Sundays, culture clashes, nostalgia, the Antique's Roadshow, and so on.
As some brummy once wrote... these songs now feel old, but are still in the future, they will take on a new life of their own in the live domain in 2011. Meanwhile the mighty Logic has arrived with us and we're delivering audio output with a new found wealth of soul and power, as we begin the second round batch of songwriting.
